Courage Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Geospatial Analyst to support a large NGA geospatial production program at our facility in Arlington, VA. The Geospatial Analyst will be responsible for the creation, editing, enrichment, and management of foundation feature data (namely topographic and human geography datasets) within an ArcGIS enterprise environment. The qualified applicant will have proven experience working with complex geospatial feature data and tables stored in relational geodatabase environments (i.e. File Geodatabase, Personal Geodatabase, and/or ArcSDE). A strong working knowledge of National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) data standards – to include TDS, NAS, and/or MGCP – and geospatial quality assurance inspection applications (i.e. GAIT and ArcGIS Data Reviewer) is required. Furthermore, an understanding of cartographic production techniques and spatial analysis, as well as basic commercial satellite imagery and/or aerial photography interpretation skills is a plus. Candidates must also possess excellent oral and written communication skills and will interact with team members, customer representatives, industry partners, and functional peer groups.

Skills we are searching for

  • Software. ArcGIS for Desktop (Version 10.2 or later), ArcSDE, Geospatial Analysis Integrity Tool (GAIT), ArcGIS Data Reviewer, and ArcGIS Topology Toolbox.
  • Scripting. Experience with Python (ArcPy) Scripting
  • Office. Proficient with MS Access and MS Excel

Security Clearance None currently; however, preference given to applicants with an active security clearance or willingness to acquire a clearance. U.S. Citizenship is required
